CACIVIC ACCESS
Accessibility-first public service study

Public services without the maze.

A task-first government experience built for keyboard access, readable content, large targets, reduced-motion preferences and clear status information.

Service notice

Online permit applications are available. In-person assistance remains available for people who prefer or require it.

01 / Common tasks

Start with what you came here to do.

No rotating hero campaign, buried department chart or mystery navigation. High-frequency tasks appear first.

02 / Status

Tell people where things stand.

Status is presented in words, not color alone, with the next required action immediately beside it.

03 / Accessibility as design

Beautiful does not have to mean difficult.

This study demonstrates an accessibility-first direction rather than claiming formal conformance. The portfolio-wide Aa control can pause motion, increase text, strengthen focus, switch to a standard cursor and simplify visual effects.

Keyboard-first pathsVisible focus, logical order, skip navigation and native controls.
Motion is optionalReduced-motion preferences are respected and presentation can be simplified.
Information is redundantStatus and instructions do not rely on color, animation or position alone.
04 / Help

Offer another way.

A public-service experience should never assume everyone can complete the same digital path in the same way.
